Mediaset Group is the leading Italian multinational media group, whose main business is commercial TV broadcasting. The group activities are focused in Italy and Spain. The Group total turnover in 2012 was € 3.7 bln.

In Italy, the Group operates in the following areas:

Commercial TV broadcasting, operated through 3 major FTA channels and a family of thematic channels

Pay TV on DTT (linear and non linear, OTTV) covering a broad set of content like football, movies, TV series, documentaries and kids channels

Advertising collection: the Group collects advertising both on its own distribution channels (FTA, Pay TV, online) and for third parties

TV series and movie production (Medusa, Taodue)

Mediaset Group is also the major shareholder of Mediaset España (41.6% stake), the Spanish leading integrated broadcaster with two core channels (Telecinco and Cuatro) and a family of thematic channels. It also holds the 22% of Digital+, the leading DTH pay TV operator in Spain. Mediaset España is listed on the Spanish stock exchange.

Mediaset Group also owns a 65% stake in EI Towers, the leading independent tower operator in Italy, created after the merger between Mediaset's internal tower business and DMT. EI Towers is listed on Milan Stock Exchange.

Mediaset Group is listed on Milan Stock Exchange and the main shareholder is Fininvest.
